Caroline EllisCommercial Director
In her role as commercial director, Caroline works with businesses to address the biggest challenges facing multichannel sales operations – namely minimising margin dilution, optimising stock inventory management and strengthening supply chain resilience.
This involves drawing on 15 years of previous experience of buying, sourcing and supplying products for retailers and brands including Matalan, Henri Lloyd and JD Sports, and combining this with an in-depth knowledge of supply chain management gained during the past decade working with Advanced Supply Chain Group.
Day-to-day, Caroline works closely with our business operations team to build and develop client relationships by pinpointing ways to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of supply chain strategies. Utilising our bespoke software and in-house IT expertise means we’re agile enough to be able to implement solutions quickly, which has proved key to enhancing client satisfaction and leading to most of our customer relationships running for many years.
Her role also covers new business development, which means Caroline is actively involved in raising the profile of Advanced Supply Chain Group. This uses her knowledge of the opportunities and challenges facing customers to develop marketing campaigns that are relevant, engaging and demonstrate expertise.
We’ve created numerous campaigns in recent years that focus on topical market trends such as the growth in social media commerce and customer returns, and the supply chain complexities of growing sales channels. These campaigns have seen ASCG develop close working relationships with leading media publications, academics and industry trade partners. This has supported our continued growth as an international business.
