Staff from across our Group have kindly volunteered their time in order to participate in litter picking in the green areas surrounding our network of sites.
Earth Day is an annual, globally recognised event where people come together to demonstrate their commitment to environmental protection. This years theme is ‘Invest in our Planet.’ Earth Day calls on businesses and individuals to work together to preserve and protect our health, our families and our livelihoods. By working together, we must Invest In Our Planet.
Staff from across our Group have kindly volunteered their time in order to participate in litter picking in the green areas surrounding our network of sites in order demonstrate our commitment to the environment and global clean up, whilst raising awareness to those around us.
In order to add an element of competitiveness, fun and bring an element of team work, prizes could be won based on
- Most exciting or unusual piece of litter found
- Most inventive photo and caption
- Best clean up – based on before and after photos
It’s so nice to know that we’ve left a place a little better than we found it!.
