| Out and About |
| | Last week was a whirlwind for our commercial team as they attended ShopTalk in Barcelona followed by Deliver in Amsterdam. They heard inspiring talks and connected with a fantastic mix of new and familiar faces.
We'll be following up with many of the people we met at these conferences, but if we missed you and you're interested in discussing sustainable solutions, we’d still love to hear from you, get in touch! |

Deep Cleaning |
As we move into the warmer months, summer shipments from the East are increasingly at risk of arriving in less-than-ideal condition. Even the most carefully packed containers can be impacted by heat and humidity.
To help prevent these damaged goods
from ending up in landfill, we offer Ozone Treatment Services, a powerful and sustainable solution.
Ozone Deep Cleaning can:
Neutralise odours
Eradicate mould and mildew
Decontaminate from bacteria and viruses
From start to finish, our experts handle every step with care, complying with all safety regulations and the highest industry standards. So this summer don’t let heat-damaged shipments go to waste.
Get in touch to learn how our Ozone Treatment can help recover and refresh your goods this summer.

Welcome to ASC |
|
We’re excited to welcome Jonathan Heap to Advanced Supply Chain (ASC) as our new Senior Business Development Manager, as we continue to grow our offering for mid-to-large sized retailers.
Jonathan brings over 25 years of logistics expertise, having held senior roles at Wincanton, DHL, Argos, Starbucks, and Asda. He will play a key role in connecting retailers and consumer brands with our value-added services, including reverse logistics, sustainability solutions, and our innovative Retail Ready service—designed to speed up pre-retail processes while cutting waste and emissions.
His appointment supports our wider mission to build smarter, more sustainable supply chains, and follows other recent senior hires as we expand our commercial capabilities.
We’re thrilled to have Jonathan on board as we help our clients stay competitive, compliant, and future-ready. |

Creating a More Sustainable World |
The circular economy in fashion seeks to extend the lifecycle of products, reduce waste, and regenerate natural systems by shifting from a linear “take, make, dispose” model to a more regenerative approach. In a circular system, garments are designed for longevity, can be easily repaired, and are made from materials that can be recycled. The goal is to create a closed-loop system where every product is fully utilised and then returned to the production cycle.
That's why Reconomy has launched the #CloseTheGap campaign, to ensure every business has the tools to become fully circular. |

Well done team! |
We are thrilled to announce that Nettetal has successfully achieved ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditation—with zero non-conformances or observations! This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to quality management and environmental responsibility and ensures that Nettetal is fully aligned with the rest of the business in terms of ISO certification.
The auditors also provided outstanding feedback on the professionalism and courtesy of our team, as well as recognition for our waste management and sustainability commitment.
Our dedication to environmental sustainability was further highlighted by our waste provider, EGN, who confirmed that Nettetal has exceeded expectations in recycling efforts.
Zero waste to landfill – all waste is either recycled or thermally recovered.
Paper & cardboard are recycled into new products.
Wood waste is converted into electricity via a thermal power plant.
Plastics are either recycled into new film or used to generate electricity.
Bulky waste is thermally treated to contribute to energy production.
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, thank you to everyone involved!

Closing The Gap |
| | The circularity gap highlights how far we are from achieving a fully circular economy, one where resources are kept in continuous use and waste is minimized. With only 7.2% of the global economy currently circular, over 90% of natural resources are still being wasted or lost and unable to reuse.
As part of the Reconomy Group, ASCG, Reconomy, and our partner brands see this not just as an environmental challenge, but as a powerful opportunity for businesses to grow more efficiently and sustainably.
That’s why Reconomy have launched their #CloseTheGap campaign, to make circular practices easier to understand, adopt, and benefit from. Through practical resources, real-life stories, and close collaboration with our customers, we’re aiming to show that a more circular economy can lead to significant cost savings, innovation, and long-term resilience. Together, we can close the gap and unlock a smarter, more sustainable future. |

Safety First |
As part of our ongoing commitment to health and safety, we recently conducted a comprehensive fire safety training session at our facility. The session was designed to ensure our team is fully prepared to respond effectively in the event of a fire emergency.
Participants received practical instruction on fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and the correct use of fire extinguishers. This training forms a vital part of our efforts to maintain a safe and compliant working environment for all employees.
We extend our sincere thanks to all team members who took part and to the trainers for their expert guidance and support. By prioritising preparedness and safety, we continue to foster a more secure workplace for everyone.
