sea freight

Our dedicated sea freight team has vast experience in managing both imports and exports, and has established relationships with leading shipping carriers, enabling us to negotiate highly competitive long, medium and short term shipping rates.

Whether full container loads (FCL) or less than full container loads (LCL) we provide a fully-insured service with the optimum combination of quality, speed and affordability.

We also offer membership to a sea freight buying group. Based on the concept of combining sea freight volume with other similarly sized businesses it allows you access to preferential rates and benefits usually associated with large volume shippers and their own negotiated deals.

Our Global freight division holds Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) accreditation, with direct links into CHIEF – HMRC’s electronic submission system for faster customs clearance – and we are members of the British International Freight Association (BIFA).

We have operations strategically-located within the world’s major manufacturing regions, including offices, warehousing and consolidation centres in China and Hong Kong, the world’s largest container port. Close partnerships and strategic alliances with sea freight specialists enable us to provide local representation in countries where we don’t have wholly-owned operations.

Vector, our award-winning supply chain management system, provides enhanced visibility of goods in transit with full track and trace of sea freight from port of origin to destination.
