ASCG CEO recognised with MBE

Advanced Supply Chain Group’s CEO has been acknowledged in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

Mike Danby, CEO of the international supply chain business, has received an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for his services to business and the local community

This news comes in the 21st year of business for the company. Advanced Supply Chain Group (ASCG) was founded in 1997 after an MBO by Mike Danby, CEO, and Glyn Rogan, CFO. Headquartered in Bradford, the company operates out of 11 locations throughout the UK and Europe. Its freight forwarding division, Advanced Forwarding, also operates two offices in China.

The business now works with some of the world’s most successful and fast-growing retailers. The business has focused on developing its employees and innovating within the sector through its own bespoke technology. Mike is also on the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) committee.

Mike Danby, CEO of ASCG said: “ASCG wouldn’t be the success it is without my business partner and CFO, Glyn Rogan, our strong leadership team and the hard work and enthusiasm everyone in the team brings each day. From our warehouse teams, to our drivers, and the teams who look after our customers everyday. This honour is for them as much as for me.”

“We’ve invested in a new brand this year to celebrate our 21st year of business and symbolise how much the company has evolved. I look forward to celebrating this anniversary with our team and customers.”
