ISO 9001 - right first time, every time
Advanced is focused on ‘delivering the promise’ for its customers, so gaining the ISO9001 quality mark was a natural move.
We are the only UK company to currently have both our logistics AND our garment processing operations covered by the standard. The only fashion logistics outfit to previously hold the quality mark across the full range of its services was DTS Logistics, which relinquished the standard in 2004.
Advanced’s quality management system ensures consistency throughout the business and provides a guarantee that we will deliver products and services that meet customer requirements.
Managing director Mike Danby believes that the ISO9001 mark will provide benefits both for Advanced and its customers.
“We have not taken this path just to be able to display the logo,” he said. "Strong procedures and a culture of adhering to them is the only way to achieve such consistency. I'm 100 per cent committed to realising the benefits of ISO 9001 for our customers.”
